Meet one of our Promise Babies: Camila!


Camila Jean, daughter of Josiah and Melissa Christoffer of Sioux Falls, SD, was born 1:26 a.m. Sunday, July 14, 2019, in her home, weighing 5 pounds, 2 ounces, and measuring 19 inches. Her siblings are Cali, 6, and Cohen, 3.

Certified nurse midwife Belinda Lassen of Promise Community Health Center of Sioux Center, IA, provided the prenatal care for the family throughout the pregnancy. Certified nurse midwife Pam Hulstein of Promise attended the home birth.


The couple appreciated the care that they received from Promise's midwives.
