Meet one of our Promise Babies: Rosalind!

Rosalind Jean, daughter of Nathan and Kirbee Nykamp of Sioux Center, IA, was born 12:44 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at Orange City Area Health System, weighing 7 pounds, 10 ounces, and measuring 21 inches. She had to siblings, Ella, 6, and Oliver, 4.

Certified nurse midwife Belinda Lassen of Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, IA, provided the prenatal care for the family throughout the pregnancy.

The family enjoyed their first experience working with a midwife.

"I really loved how much time we could spend asking questions at all of the appointments," Kirbee said. "There was a lot more time given for whatever was on my mind."

Kirbee and Nathan Nykamp welcomed baby
Rosalind into their family on Wednesday, March
8. The family received prenatal care from
midwife Belinda Lassen of Promise Community
Health Center of Sioux Center.
