Meet one of our Promise Babies: Auren!


Auren Indiana Thomas, daughter of Kelsie Jo Thomas and Anthony Craig Helland of Sioux Falls, SD, was born 3:04 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2019, in her home, weighing 8 pounds and measuring 21 inches. Her grandparents are Rosemary Dickens-Helland of Sioux Falls and Mark Thomas of Alexandria, SD.

Certified nurse midwife Pam Hulstein of Promise Community Health Center of Sioux Center, IA, provided the prenatal care for the family throughout the pregnancy. Certified nurse midwife Belinda Lassen of Promise attended the home birth.


The couple appreciated the care that they received from Promise's midwives.

Kelsie Jo Thomas and Anthony Craig Helland welcomed
baby Auren into their family on Sunday, May 19. She was
born in their home in Sioux Falls, SD, with the assistance
of midwife Belinda Lassen of Promise Community Health
Center of Sioux Center. Midwife Pam Hulstein
of Promise provided the prenatal care.
