Meet one of our Promise Babies: Ellie!


Ellie Mae, daughter of Matt and Amanda Long of Orange City, IA, 
was born 9:17 a.m. Sunday, June 10, 2018, in their home. She has a sister, Emma, 2.

Certified nurse midwife Pam Hulstein of Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, IA, provided the prenatal care for the family throughout the pregnancy and attended the home birth. Registered nurse Erica Robertson also assisted with the birth.


"We loved working with Pam, Erica and Promise Community Health Center!" Amanda said.

Amanda Long holds her baby, Ellie. She and her
husband, Matt, welcomed baby Ellie into their
family on Sunday, June 10. He was born in their
home in Orange City, IA, with the assistance of
midwife Pam Hulstein of Promise Community
Health Center of Sioux Center.
