Meet one of our Promise Babies: Eden!


Eden Jenneke, daughter of Mitch and Jenni-Lee Evertse of Rock Valley, IA, was born 12:59 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in their home, weighing 6 pounds, 8 ounces, and measuring 20 inches. She has three siblings, Micah, 7; Gideon, 4; and Meadow, 2. Her grandparents are Ken and Ida Evertse of Hull, IA, and Jan and Gayle Neels of Ontario, Canada.

Certified nurse midwife Belinda Lassen of Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, IA, provided the prenatal care for the family throughout the pregnancy and attended the home birth.


Mitch and Jenni-Lee Evertse welcomed baby Eden into
their family on Wednesday, June 13. She was born in
their home in Rock Valley, IA, with the assistance of
midwife Belinda Lassen of Promise Community
Health Center of Sioux Center.
