Meet one of our Promise Babies: Daniel!


Daniel Thomas, son of Neil and BreAnne Rohe of Sioux Falls, SD,
 was born 5:04 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2018, in their home, weighing 8 pounds, 2 ounces, and measuring 22 inches. He has three siblings, Hope, 7; Jami, 5; and Chris, 2. His grandparents are Tom and Donna Rohe of Le Mars, IA, and Todd and Lisa Sitzmann of Le Mars.

Certified nurse midwife Belinda Lassen of Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, IA, provided the prenatal care for the family throughout the pregnancy and attended the home birth. Registered nurse Kari Ney also assisted with the birth.


"I have loved the care I've received from Belinda and the staff at Promise," BreAnne said. "It is so nice to have the option for home birth. It was an amazing experience!"

her husband, Neil, welcomed baby Daniel into
their family on Thursday, March 29. He was born
in their home in Sioux Falls, SD, with the assistance
of midwife Belinda Lassen of Promise Community
Health Center in Sioux Center. One of his older
sisters, Hope, also joins in on the photo.
