Hilde Margaret Aker, daughter of Andrew and Jenna Aker of Sioux Center, IA, was born 7:47 p.m. Friday, May 6, in her home, weighing 9 pounds and measuring 19.5 inches. She has two siblings, Willa, 5, and Bode, 2.
The family received its prenatal care from midwifery team at Promise Community Health Center. Promise's certified nurse midwives Pam Hulstein and Belinda Lassen assisted with the home birth.
