Meet one of our Promise Babies: Krystal!


Krystal Clara, daughter of Ethan and Rachel Wedekind of Sioux Falls, SD, was born 2:34 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, weighing 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and measuring 21 1/2 inches. Her grandparents are Doug and Becky Wedekind of Lindsay, NE, and Vince and Beth Carrig of Sioux Falls, SD.

Certified nurse midwife Pam Hulstein of Promise Community Health Center of Sioux Center, IA, provided the prenatal care for the family throughout the pregnancy and attended the home birth.

Rachel and Ethan Wedekind welcomed baby Krystal
into their family on Friday, Dec. 28. She was born in
their home in Sioux Falls, SD, with the assistance of
midwife Pam Hulstein of Promise Community
Health Center of Sioux Center.
