Meet one of our Promise Babies: Brycn!

Brycn Lawrence, son of Alanzo and Bailey Ruble of Sioux Falls, SD, was born 1:23 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, in their home, weighing 7 pounds, 8 ounces, and measuring 22 inches. His grandparents are Kallie and Dave Morrow and April and Victor Nichols of Cherokee, IA.

Certified nurse midwives Pam Hulstein and Belinda Lassen of Promise Community Health Center of Sioux Center, IA, provided the prenatal care for the family throughout the pregnancy.

The family appreciated the care they received and the home birth experience.

"It was everything I imagined and more," Bailey said. "I couldn't have asked for a better pregnancy and birth. We loved both of our midwives!"

Bailey Ruble holds her baby, Brycn. She and her
husband, Alanzo, welcomed baby Brycn into their
family on Tuesday, Oct. 2. He was born in their
home in Sioux Falls, SD.
