Meet one of our Promise Babies: Asa!


Asa Bradley, son of Julius and Raya Hopp of Moville, IA, 
was born 4:32 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018, in their home, weighing 9 pounds, 1 ounces, and measuring 22 inches. His grandparents are Brad and Megan Hopp of Moville, IA, and Scott and Maryann Beckner of Sioux City, IA.

Certified nurse midwife Belinda Lassen of Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, IA, provided the prenatal care for the family throughout the pregnancy and attended the home birth. Registered nurse Kari Ney also assisted with the birth.


This was a second generation baby for Lassen. She delivered Asa's dad, Julius, 22 years ago.

family on Wednesday, May 9. He was born in their
home in Moville, IA, with the assistance of midwife
Belinda Lassen of Promise Community Health Center.
