Cooper Richard, son of Kristine and Calvin Thiessen of Spirit Lake, IA, was born Wednesday, March 16, in his home, weighing 7 pounds, 8 ounces, and measuring 21 inches.
The family received prenatal care from Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center. Certified nurse midwife Pam Hulstein assisted with the birth.
