Braxton Lane, son of Abbey Lair of Rock Valley, IA, was born 10:07 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2018, at Hegg Memorial Health Center in Rock Valley, weighing 4 pounds, 15 ounces, and measuring 19 inches.

Certified nurse midwife Belinda Lassen of Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, IA, provided prenatal care throughout the pregnancy.
